Media Coverage for Your Special Event!

Let's start by saying...always put your best foot forward with media coverage of your special event/fundraiser-it's free and easy to accomplish- if you know how.

Move the whole process with GOOD PHOTOS that can be incorporated in print applications. The better the resolution on the picture--the better the its use will garner. Try to make sure that you take as many pictures as possible, try varying the angles plus include the "final look" in your presentation.

The best person to tell the world about your Special Event/Fundraiser is...YOU! Try to promote your ideas, your expertise, some new projects you are working on-with FYI tips included -as food for thought.

Build a standard press release for use to all media outlets acknowledging your special event/fundraiser, or company/organization news. Always be brief, with the facts enumerated in the first paragraph, followed by company/organization contact info, including the point person in charge.

Finally, follow-up your press releases to ensure accuracy and timely reporting of this vital information. Of course, seeing your name, company/organization name, or the special event/fundraiser promoted by your local media outlets is such a gratifying task -when it is executed properly. Good Luck!
